Donald Wayne Givens, 69, of Salisbury, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Donald was born on November 13, 1953, in Moberly, MO, the son of William "Bill" and Jessie (Hurst) Givens. He was a 1972 graduate of Salisbury High School. Donald enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two children, Dennis Givens and wife Jessica of Salisbury, MO, Christy Tooley and husband David of Madison, MO; five grandchildren, Kortnie Purnell, Wyatt Tooley, Austin Givens, Alysa Merry, and Nadily Merry; two siblings, William "Bill" Givens and wife Jeanette of Huntsville, MO, Willa Burris of Salisbury, MO; two half sisters, Dorothy Munoz and Sabina Givens of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, George Givens.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 22, 2022, from 9 to 11 am at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Asbury Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home.
