Jessie was a lifelong Salisbury resident, except for the past 7 years living in Keytesville. She was a graduate of the St. Joseph Catholic High School class of 1947. She was a homemaker and had worked at Chariton County Sheltered Workshop.
Jessie is survived by three sons George Givens of Salisbury, Donald Givens and wife Ruby of Salisbury, William Givens, Jr. and wife Jeannette of Huntsville; a daughter Willa Burris and husband Charles of Salisbury; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
