Obituary for Cynthia Acosta
Cynthia Acosta, 54, of Stamford, was born March 3, 1969, to parents, Paula and Ben Acosta in Stamford, Texas. Cindy graduated From Stamford High School in 1986. After graduation Cindy worked in the health care industry in Stamford, Texas at Skyview living Center, for years, and later worked at Teakwood Manor in Stamford as well. She resided in Stamford all her life.
Cindy spent the majority of her life surrounded by her very large family who loved her! The love she had for her nieces and nephews was not only as an aunt, but they were considered to be her own children. She was very well known to cook for her partner and family, starting her day at 4:30 a.m. Cindy is survived by her partner, Chente of many years and one daughter, Sophia, who she treasured, of Stamford Texas. She is survived by four sisters, Teresa Acosta, Sandra Rodriguez and Mary Aguilar of Stamford and Leslie Cavazos, brothers Ernest Acosta, Gary Acosta, and Norman Acosta all of Stamford, Richard Acosta of Abilene Texas, Robert Acosta Villarreal of Haskell, and David Acosta of Lake Stamford. Cindy leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her tremendously. She was considered the heart of the family!
Preceding her in death were her maternal and paternal grandparents, her parents, two sisters (Nancy Acosta and Helen Martinez), and three brothers (Freddie, Daniel, and Chris Acosta).
A memorial is planned on June 2, 2022, at 2 PM, at the House of God in Stamford Texas to celebrate her life and love!!!!!!!Cynthia
