CLARENCE CONWELL, 57, EXPIRES AT HOSPITAL; FINAL SERVICES MONDAY

MONTICELLO--Clarence Conwell, of route 3, Monticello, died Friday afternoon at St. Joseph's hospital, Logansport. He had been in ill health several years.

Born July 23, 1895 in Liberty township, White county, he was the son of Wesley and Estella Imler Conwell. His marriage was to Maude F. Wheaton, who survives. He was a member of Buffalo Christian church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Long, at hom; three sons: Francis, Buffalo; Cleon, Leiters Ford; Thomas W., Indianapolis; nine grandchildren. Two sisters and three brothers survive: Mrs. Mildred DeVault, Monon; Mrs. Paul Ledford, Francesville; Stanley, Pulaski county; Cassius, Monon; Dale, Buffalo.

The body is at the Prevo funeral home and will be returned to the residence, three miles southwest of Buffalo, where friends may call after noon Sunday. Rites will be at the Buffalo Christian church at two o'clock Monday afternoon with burial in the Hughes cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at noon Monday.
