Skeeter served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, and married Jean L. Frenzel, who preceded him in death September 5, 2010. He was an electrician for Navistar for 25 years, retiring in 1987.
Skeeter was a member of Masonic Lodge #533 F. & A.M., the Scottish Rite, the Murat Shrine, Murat Bass Anglers and O.E.S. Chapter #446. Skeeter was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish.
Skeeter is survived by his daughter, Karen Daubenspeck (James) and several nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Peggy Ann Conwell; a sister; and two brothers, preceded him in death.
