Faye Louise Tennant (Gray, Weldon, Thrush), 90 of Midland, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her home. She was born January 22, 1933, in Gladwin, the daughter of the late Forrest Weldon and Marian Rhoda (Martin) Gray. A graduate of Midland High School, Faye retired from the 3-D Department Store in Midland in the late 1980's. She was a long-time faithful member of the Midland Church of the Brethren and an avid member of Midland Quilt Makers. Faye had made over 5,000 quilts all of which were generously donated to orphanages, children's and VA hospitals, or given to her family and friends as gifts.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jack Tennant, Sr; by sisters Hazel (Wilbur) Ray and Forresta Gray; stepdaughters, Vicki, Verlee, Jackie, Brenda, and by her beloved daughter, Kathleen Stoneburner.
Interment in Old Hope Township Cemetery, 700 E. Baker Road, Hope, MI 48628.
