Forrest Weldon Gray, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Midland, Michigan, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 1989 in Phoenix.

He was born May 23, 1910 in Hope, Michigan where he attended schools. He married the former Mary Noah in December 1964 in Midland. He worked as an electrician and was a member of I.B.E.W. Union, Local 692, in Bay City, for many years, retiring in 1970 at which time he then moved to Phoenix, Ariz. He was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 708 in Phoenix and formerly a member of the Moose Lodge No. 1541, in Midland.

Surviving is his wife; four daughters and their husbands, Hazel and Wilbur Ray, Faye Tennant, all of Midland, Micki Hearns, of Tampa, Fla. and Helen and Jim Mason, of Allen Park; two step-sons, Donald Noah, of Michigan and Robert Noah, of Venton, Texas; one step-daughter, Patricia Horning, of Maryland; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, Albert and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place at 2pm, Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1989, from the Ware-Smith-Woolever and Co., Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler. Officiating will be Rev. Ira A. Bush of the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Old Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from Noon until the time of services.

Memorial are suggested to the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, in Midland.
