Forresta "Micki" M. Gray, 74, of Midland, passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at the MidMichigan Medical Center. Micki had fallen on October 9, 2014, causing severe head trauma. She was surrounded by her family at the time of passing. She was born July 2, 1940, in Beaverton, Michigan to Forrest Weldon Gray and Marion Rhoda (Martin) Gray.
Micki was a very proud mother and grandmother and is survived by her children to cherish her memory: daughter Lynda Lillian (Hearns) and her husband Kim Konrad Mieske of Beaverton, Michigan and their children, son, Matthew Ryan Berger and wife, Heather Elizabeth (Gall) Berger of Sanford, Michigan and their children Emalie Ryane Berger, Atianna Quinones, and Taylor Elizabeth Berger; son, Michael Scott Berger of Midland, Michigan and his children Zayne Michael Berger and Cameron David Lothian; and son Aaron Conrad Mieske and wife, Sally (Gwizdala) Mieske of Midland, Michigan and their children Michael Gwizdala and Preston Conrad Mieske; Micki's son Tracy Lee Hearns and wife, Kayla (Pockrandt) Hearns and their children, Cory and Jenny Hearns, all of Midland, Michigan; Micki's daughter Diana Elizabeth Crippen of Midland; and Micki's daughter Lee-Ann Marion (Hearns) Heuer and husband, Mike Heuer of Valrico, Florida and their children, Staci Marie (Harper) Pesce and her daughter Rilee Julianne Pesce of Washington, Joshua Harper, Nicole Harper and her son Seth Mathew Parks, and Anjelica Heuer all of Florida.
Micki also leaves two sisters, Faye (Gray) Tennant of Midland, and Helen (Gray) and James Mason of Gladwin; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Micki was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kelvin Levi Hearns-Crippen (1985); brother-in-law Robert "Wilbur" Ray (2013); sister, Hazel (Gray) Ray (2014); and good friend, Tony Crippen (2004).
Micki loved so many and she was loved very much. We will always carry her memory in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Micki's name to Midland Senior Services. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held on November 8, 2014 with interment in the Jerome Township Cemetery, Sanford, MI.
