Arnold Lee Barber, 88, of Greensburg passed away on April 13, 2023. He was born on May 15, 1934 in Rushville, the son of Irvin and Gladys Lee Barber. Arnold was a 1953 graduate of Sandusky High School. He was a United States Army Veteran. On June 30, 1961, he married Dorothy Jean Hermesch. Arnold was a Farmer. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion, and The Story Church.

Arnold lived and worked on the same farm near Sandusky for a total of 76 years. He enjoyed family gatherings, especially for 37 reunions. He was a fan of IU basketball, Cincinnati Reds, and the Indianapolis Colts. He was a father like symbol to all of his family. He was a true patriarch.

Survivors include his Children: Debra (Scott) Ralston, Westport, Brian (Michelle) Barber, Brenda (Jody) Dance, and Donald (Melanie) Barber, all of Greensburg; Grandchildren: Tami Barber, Shawn Campos, Stephanie Barber, Bobby (Sami) Barber, Devin Barber, Jeremy (Shawna) Dance, Justin Dance, Jacob Dance, Cecilia Barber, Nolan Barber, Simon Barber, Elliott Barber, and Jonah Barber; 13 Great-Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews; eight Sister-in-laws and two Brother-in-laws.

Arnold was preceded in death by his Parents; Wife; Sisters, Ellen Barber and Julia Fuentes; Brothers, Irvin Barber, Jr, Richard Barber, James Barber; Grandson: Matthew Campos; and Brother-in-law: Thomas Hermesch.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 11:00 am. Pastor Jon Porter will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery.
