Lucille R. Havener, 97, of Springfield died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at her daughter's home. She was born Dec. 17, 1905, in Niantic, the daughter of Charles A. and Maud B. Elder Bramel. A daughter, Theda May, preceded her in death.

She worked at an ammunition plant in Illiopolis and the Orlando Hotel in Decatur. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors: three sons; two daughters; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Services: Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel, the Rev. William Schroeder officiating. Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Vancil Memorial Chapel, Springfield, with the Rev. William Schroeder officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Springfield.

Mrs. Havener was born Dec. 17, 1905, in Niantic, the daughter of Charles A. and Maud B. Elder Bramel. She worked at an ammunition plant in Illiopolis and the Orlando Hotel in Decatur. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her sons, Clarence (Margaret) Havener of Decatur; Charles William (Mary Ellen) Havener of Illiopolis; Frank (Dolly) Havener of Springfield; daughters, Barbara (Robert) Campbell and Maryln Havener, both of Springfield; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
