Committal services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in The Star of Hope Mausoleum, Graceland Cemetery. No visitation. Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorials: Elks Crippled Children's Fund.
William was born April 28, 1914, in Niantic, the son of Charles and Maude Elder Bramel. He was a retired draftsman for Caterpillar Tractor Co. He and his wife were active in the Elks Club of Decatur. He married Frances Alice Crow Bramel Aug. 28, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nev. She preceded him in death June 3, 2003.
Surviving are his sister, Lucille Havener of Springfield; numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife and several brothers and sisters.
