Mrs. Bray, widow of Alfred Bray, deceased, died Thursday night at the residence of Henry Feathers, after a brief illness. She had been waiting on her brother, John Simmons, during his illness and after he was able to be up and about again, was visiting her friends in Belmont, before returning to her home. Her death's illness came upon her very suddenly, and notwithstanding that everything possible was done for her, she passed quickly away.
Deceased was 70 years of age in January last.
One son, Alonzo, who has been residing in Missouri for several years. and two brothers survive her. Her funeral was held in the M.E. church Sunday morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Chalfant officiating, after which her remains were taken in charge by Undertaker Eustice and buried in a cemetery near Georgetown.
