Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 27 at Brune & Buck Chapel for Nick Bacoch, who passed away Sept. 23 at Northern Inyo Hospital. The Reverend Darrelen Romero will officiate, interment will be at Woodman Cemetery in Big Pine. A traditional Cry Dance will be held at the cemetery after the funeral service. Pallbearers are: Vern Kinney, Jack Jones, Jim Duckey, Steve Kane, Ronald Barr, and Clifford Bowers. Honorary pallbearers are: Mark Jones, Lawrence Pratt, Ross Stone, Luke Stone, John Andreas Jr., Ray Lavine, and James Rambeau. Mr. Bacoch was born Aug. 2, 1933 in Big Pine, he was a lifetime resident of Big Pine. Mr. Bacoch was a member of the American Legion Post #457 in Big Pine. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte of Big Pine; two sons: Paul Bacoch of Tamil and Joshua of Big Pine; three daughters: Valena Bacoch of Arcadia, Rosalita Bacoch and Jessica Kinney of Big Pine; a grandson Darryl and granddaughter Lena Ann of Big Pine; three sisters: Agnes Barlow of Bishop, Velma Jones and Hazel Rambeau both of Big Pine; one brother Mike Bacoch of Big Pine and many aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
