Graveside funeral services for life long Big Pine resident Michael "Happy" Bacoch Sr. will be held Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Woodman Cemetery in Big Pine. Mr. Bacoch was born Jan. 10, 1941 in Schurz, Nevada. He served in the U.S. Army fro 1962 unit 1965. He worked as a miner at Union Carbide for 15 years. He died Jan. 20 at the Washoe Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, he was 52. Survivors include his wife Geraldine Bacoch of Big Pine; son Michael Bacoch Jr. of Bishop; daughters Michele Bacoch and Danelle Bacoch of Big Pine; 5 grandchildren; sisters Velma Jones and Daisy Rambeau of Big Pine; aunts Pauline Westervelt of Big Pine; Rosalind Denver of Bishop, and Evelyn Spratt of Big Pine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
