Noboru Abe, 65, of Pearl City, a retired Leilehua High School counselor, died Friday in Kuakini Hospital. Born in Ewa, he is survived by wife Matsue S.; sons Mark K. and Scott M.; daughter Geri E. Goshi; brother Hisashi; sisters Eleanor T. Takahashi, Alice Y. Yokota, Laura K. Wood, Clare K. Perreira and Florence K. Barnett; and a grandchild. Memorial service: 6 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Inurnment: 11:30 a.m. Monday at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. No flowers.
