Services were held on October 2, 1995 at Little Sioux Lutheran Church in Milford for Ronald Howard Elkin, age 56, with Rev. Ray Miller officiating.

Ronald Howard Elkin was born to Howard and Florence (Hoovel) Elkin on May 18, 1939 at Milford, Iowa. He graduated from Milford High School in 1959.

He was united in marriage to Karen Morfitt Borensen on February 16, 1964 at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. The couple made their home in Everly and Ron worked in Hartley. They later moved to Royal where he was manager of the telephone company. They returned to Hartley where he was employed by the Orkin Exterminnating Co.

Ron passed away on Thursday, September 27 at the McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado following an apparent heart attack. He was employed by the Shamrock Cab Co. in Ft. Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Eunice Elkin and LaVon Holtrop.

Interment was in Little Sioux Lutheran Cemetery in Milford with Turner Funeral Home of Milford in charge of arrangements.
