Mr. Grant's Funeral
The Rev. Perry H. Saito of St. Paul's Methodist Church conducted funeral services Friday afternoon at the Boston Funeral Home for Jesse R. Grant, 71, Town of Plover, who died Wednesday. Burial followed in the Plover Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Clarence Sherman, Cecil Allen, Levi McGown, Harry Calkins, Harley Jacklin and Chester Gilman.
"In the Garden" was sung during the services by Mrs. Richard Weller and Mrs. Arlyn West. Mrs. West was the accompanist.
Relatives and friends attended from Wausau, Nekoosa, Port Edwards, Menasha, Waupaca, and throughout Portage County.
Mr. Grant was a member of the Plover Methodist Church.
