In December 1907, she was united in marriage to Dick Carr. To this union two sons were born: Raymond and Chester.
She came to the little town of Moffat in 1913 and resided there until her death on March 8, 1958.
In September 1926 she was united in marriage to Arthur L. Miles and to this union one child, a daughter, Bertha, was born.
She is survived by her children: Raymond Carr of Reno, Nev., Chester Carr of Wellington, Nev., and Bertha Brown of Moffat; two stepsons, Edmund Miles of Rifle and Perry Miles of Saguache; a stepdaughter, Laura Sims of Denver; seven grandchildren, Marvin and Carol Carr, Martin and Donald Brown, Bill and Edwin Miles and Frank Langley, one great-grandson, Stevie Carr; three sisters, Emma Anderson of Denver, Mrs. A. E. Biggs and Mrs. C. E. Biggs of Moffat and a brother, Joe Vandruff of Portland, Oregon; also a host of friends and relatives. Her husband preceded her in death in 1952.
