Nancy O. Ella Vanderuff Burdette, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J.B. Vanderuff, was born in Hewins, Kansas Nov. 26, 1883 and departed this life Feb. 14, 1933 at age 49. She was united in marriage Nov. 5, 1905 to Oscar Burdette. To this union were born four children, two boys and two girls. The boys and husband preceded her in death several years before.
She leaves to mourn, her daughters, Beth of Fort Worth, Texas; and Doris of Moffat, Colorado; four sisters, all of Moffat; and one brother of Paonia, Colorado. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian Church Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Williams officiating.

One of the sons was named Robert Beecher, the other son was Joseph Arthur. Both are buried in Cedar Vale Cemetery in Chautauqua County, Kansas. The husband of Nancy and father of these children is buried there as well. pwc
