Hannah Gaddis was the daughter of Col. Thomas Gaddis and Hannah Rice. She married Moses Hopwood in 1795.

1. Anna Priscilla Hopwood born January 31, 1797 and died August 1, 1874. She married Andrew McClelland in 1815 in Fayette Co, PA.
2. Moses Hopwood Jr. born September 16, 1798 and died September 25, 1867. He married #1-Mehitable _________. #2-Mary McLain.
3. John Hopwood born July 13, 1800. He died in infancy.
4. Hannah Hopwood born January 17, 1802 and died July 25, 1885. She married Josiah Wood.
5. Thomas Bradford Hopwood born September 14, 1803 and died September 2, 1892. He married Elizabeth H. Peach in May 1822 in Woodstock, Fayette Co, PA.
6. Rev. James Hopwood born May 10, 1805 and died May 4, 1881 in Vinton, Benton Co, IA. He married Louisa Littell on June 16, 1831.
7. Gaddis Hopwood born March 31, 1807 and died 1849 in Fayette Co, PA. He married Nancy Costolo.
8. William Hopwood born April 8, 1808 and died August 3, 1889. He married Eleanor Hudson in 1838.
9. Rice Gaddis Hopwood born June 22, 1810 and died August 17, 1880 in Hopwood, Fayette Co, PA. He married Ruth Jackson.
10. Julia Hopwood born January 12, 1812 and died September 27, 1893. She married John Noe Freeman.
11. Elizabeth Hopwood born February 19, 1814 and died 27 September 1882. She married E. Hays.
12. Monroe Hopwood born December 22, 1819 and died December 6, 1871. He married Louisa ________.
