Michael Ernest "Mike" Tindall of Navarre, Fla., formerly of the Eugene area, died Feb. 16 of cancer at age 55. A service was held in Florida.

He was born Dec. 1, 1952 in Eugene to Allen and Erwana Adams Tindall. He married Elga Samuelson on June 10, 1970.

Tindall attended Eugene schools and completed high school at Lane Community College. He served in the Air Force for 24 years, specializing in office management and serving on various Air Force bases in the United States and in South Korea and Germany. He attained the rank of master sergeant. He also had worked as a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Erwana Tindall of Springfield; six stepchildren, all in Florida; two brothers, Gregory of Springfield and Jeffrey of Lorane; a half-brother, Stephenof Springfield; and several step-grandchildren.

Entombment will be in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla. Arrangements by Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola.
