SUCCUMBS AT 84
IN HOSPITAL HERE

CHESTERTON, July 21, Mrs. Laura V. Wisemann, 84, and a life long resident of this community, died early Sunday morning at Porter Memorial hospital. She was injured and hospitalized June 18 in a fall in her home at 163 Jefferson.
The decedent was born in Burdick, April 21, 1868 and was married to William Wiesmann Jan. 28, 1890. Her husband and one son preceded her in death. She was the daughter of George and Mariah Schaner.
Surviving are three sons, William and Rolla of Chesterton, and Otto of Westville; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Targgart and Miss Mable Wiesemann, both of Chesterton; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Services are Tuesday at Flynn-Johnson Funeral home with Rev. Robert Ross-Shannon of the First Methodist church officiating, with burial in Chesterton cemetery.
