Services for Cleo Thornhill will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Hexson Brothers, Pineville, with the Revs. Joe Reynolds and chris Nyak officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock.

Thornhill, 78, of Pineville died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, in his residence.

He was an owner/operator of an independent cattle truck driving company for 55 years. He was a US Army veteran of WW I.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Juneau Thornhill of Pineville; three sons, Cleo Paul, Eddie Joseph and Terry Lee Thornhill, all of Pineville; three daughters, Diane Thornhill Salard of Lena, Connie Marie Thornhill Moore of Pineville, and Rita Thornhill Marler of Sulphur; three brothers, Henry and Thomas Thornhill, both of Glenmora, and Jessie Thornhill of Bellvue, Texas; sister, Dorothy Thornhill Fuqua of Pineville; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Hayden, James Marler, Larry Moore, Dearl Marler, Jared Marler, Brian Esters, Chris Marler, Jerry Salard, Sr. and Jerry Salard, Jr.

Military honors will be provided by Alexandria/Pineville Honor Guard.
