THORNHILL - Henry Samuel Rushing Thornhill, 62, formerly of near Delhi, died Monday in a Pineville hospital after a short illness. illness services will be held today at the Woodlawn Baptist Chruch at Rayville at 2 pm with the Rev. Royette and the Rev. Gould officiating. Burial will follow at the Horn Cemetery near Rayville under the direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Monroe. The body will lie in state at the residence of Mrs. Pearl Thornton at Rayville until 1 pm. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Thornhill, Alexandria; seven sons, Herman of Paradise, Hiram of Paradise, Cleo of Pineville, Ray of Pineville, Henry, T.H. and Jesse, all of Alexandria; three daughters, Mrs Leola Anderson, Rayville, Mrs. Estelle Stevenson, Crossett, Ark. and Miss Dorothy Thornhill, Alexandria; two brothers, Hiram Fletcher Thornhill, Welchton, and Horace G. Thornhill, Ball; five sister, Mrs. Dolly Tinsley, Upland Calif., Mrs. Nettea Branch, Mrs. Olla Branch, Mrs. Pearl Thornton, all of Rayville, and Mr. L.L. White, Ruby.
