Mrs. Grimmett Dies Thursday In Fort Worth

Mrs. Nancy Jane Grimmitt, 85 native of Alabama, long-time resident of Navarro county, died in Fort Worth Thursday night.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Methodist church in Barry. Burial will be in the White's Church cemetery near Blooming Grove.

Surviving are four sons, Joe Nelson Grimmett, James Davis Grimmett and Roy Earl Grimmett, all of Barry, and Ellis Graves Grimmett, Corsicana; four daughters, Mrs. Lula Hobbs, Grandview; Mrs. Ann Ragan, Chatfield; Mrs. Ruth Adair, Gridley, Calif., and Mrs. Mildred Lewis, Fort Worth; two brothers, Joe and Posey Kennedy, both of Alabama; two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Wilson, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Kate Hambrick, Lubbock; 41 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Corley Funeral Home will direct.
