Joe Grimmett Rites Monday

Joe Grimmett, 75, retired farmer, Barry Route 2, died Saturday in Memorial hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday at 3:30 p.m. from the Corley Chapel with burial in the Ridge Park cemetery in Hillsboro.

The rites were conducted by Rev. A. J. Wormwood, Methodist minister of Milford, formerly of Eureka.

Surviving are his wife of Barry; two sons, George W. Grimmett, Milford, and Hall W. Grimmett, Lima, Peru; four grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. E. O. Hobbs, Grandview; Mrs. John Ragan and Mrs. Ike Lewis, both of Corsicana; two brothers, Jim Grimmett and Rog Grimmett, both of Barry, and other relatives.

Pallbearers were George Watson, Lowell Reed, John Brawley, Roy Massengale, Bill Robinson and Robert Luther.
