JANE HUBER OBITUARY
November 1, 1928 - February 7, 2023

Loving wife of Peter Clarence Cober (deceased 1974) and Anthony (Tony) Michael Huber (deceased 2005). Devoted mother of Margaret (Peggy) and Calvin Sallans and Keith Gillespie, John and Jennifer Cober, Peter and Lynn Cober, Philip and Lenore Cober, Mary and Roger Parsons and Wanda and Robert Hagen. Big gramma will be dearly missed by 18 grandchildren and their spouses, 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She will be missed by many sisters and brothers-in-law, friends, neighbours, nieces, and nephews. Especially Carle Jane, thank you for all your loving care over the last few years.
Predeceased by her husbands Peter (1974) and Tony (2005), infant son Timothy (1959), her parents James Henry Sallans (1959) and Lucy Rosenblath (1990), her sons-in-law Calvin Guy Sallans (1980) and Keith Hugh Gillespie (2015), and infant grandson Joseph Lorne Hagen (1997).
Audrey was the last surviving of her siblings, Simon, Dora, Harvey, Mike, Annie, Marjory and Willard.
Audrey in her younger years went back to school to receive her RPN diploma and worked at Aldaview Services for many years. Her true passion and gift were quilting, sewing, knitting and horticulture. She loved canning, baking pies, stray cats, feeding and watching the birds, gardening, her SISAL ladies group, driving Go-Carts, flying kites, blueberry picking and bowling with her grandkids, parties, games, entertaining, and having fun!!
No matter what mom was faced with, she did it with a positive attitude. Determined to finish high school and worked hard to make that happen.
Audrey's real pride and joy was her family and having all her kids and grandkids together.
Above all else, Mom loved her Lord. She was devoted to her church. Her bible sat beside her chair and her day always started as time with her Lord. This is where her strength came from to meet life head on.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Rosebank Church on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to Aldaview Services or a charity of one's choice and can be done on the funeral home website.
