Ethel Marie (Roberts) Chivington, age 103, passed away Friday, December 29, 2000, at the Tendercare Nursing Home.
Ethel was born August 31, 1897, in Payne (Paulding County), Ohio and spent most of her childhood in Isabella County, Michigan. She married Samuel Earl Chivington on April 22, 1916, in Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), Michigan.
Ethel is survived by her daughter-in-law, Althea Chivington, of Saginaw, Michigan, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson of Escanaba, Michigan.
Cremation has taken place through the Reitz-Herzberg Funeral Home in Saginaw, Michigan. Memorial offerings may to the charity of choice.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel, one daughter in 1975, one daughter, Lila McCulloch in 1984 and her son, Donald, in 1995.
