Born Nancy Louise Alexander, in Charlottesville, Virginia, then moving and living in Richmond, Virginia where she attended John Marshall High School and where she met her first husband, James "Jim" Stratton, a Canadian down from Fort Erie, Ontario on a business trip. Nancy and Jim spent their lives living on Niagara Boulevard with their only son, Jimmy until Jim Sr. died..
Many years later, Nancy met and married John Elliott, a widower who lived on Lake Ontario in St. Catherine's, Ontario.
Nancy was preceded in death by husband John Elliott, her parents, Abe S Alexander, & Elizabeth L. Goodyear, Eubank, and two of her sister's, Elizabeth "Betty" Napier and Margaret "Margie" Creery, both of Henrico County, Virginia. Nancy is survived by her son, James "Jim" Stratton, Jr., his two daughters, Chelsea & Michela, her sister, Judith "Judy" Farrar and a large extended family.
