I was born in Richmond, Virginia. My father's paternal side of the family has been in the Richmond area since around 1825 and his maternal side came down from the Stratford, VA area. My mother was also born in Richmond, but her maternal side was rooted in the Charlottesville area that came down originally from the Hudson Valley area and her paternal side came from Camden, South Carolina. I am a little bit of Ireland, England and Germany and I think sometimes there's a little native American in me too. I love being a little bit of everything and learning about my history. Nothing is so exciting as finding a treasure from my past!! My family thinks me a bit weird since they say I have more interest in dead people, than I do in the ones that are living. Hmmmm, well, what can I say? Dead people don't talk back unless you're special and I'm not THAT special. :D
