She came with her family to Andrew county when she was nine years old and spent the remainder of her life in and around Savannah. On February 15, 1891, she was married to Milton Wachtel. To this union was born one daughter, Miss Ina Wachtel. She joined the Christian Church at Bethel when a young woman and moved her membership to the Savannah church when she moved to this community.
Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by four brothers, George W. Moran and Peter Moran of Savannah, Noah Moran of Bolckow and Albert Moran of Villisca, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Rosetta Kersey of Kansas City; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held from the Savannah Christian Church on Sunday, September 29, at 3:30 o'clock. Interment was made in the Savannah cemetery." Savannah Reporter and Andrew County Democrat (Savannah, Missouri), October 3, 1941
