Louise Johnson Price, 92, of Palestine, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Palestine Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held in Crowell, Tx., with the Rev. John L. Sullivan of Fisherville, Va., officiating. Interment was in Thalia Cemetery, Foard County, Tx.

Mrs. Price was born Nov. 20, 1915, in Foard County, a daughter of the late Will and Celia French Johnson. She married Morgan Price on Aug. 18, 1937, in Goodlett, Tx. and he preceded her in death.

A homemaker, she and her husband owned and operated a farm in the Lockett, Tx. community and were members of the Wilbarger County Farm Bureau. She was a member of Thalia Baptist Church and Lockett Baptist Church, and for the past three years had resided in Palestine.

Survivors include daughter, Jackie Harrison of Palestine; sons, Mike Price of Vernon, Tx., and Dan Price of Katy, Tx.; sister, Claudia Niell of Oxnard, Calif.; brothers, R.E. Johnson of Amarillo, Tx., and Bob Johnson of Florida; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nephews and nieces, including Linda Walton of Palestine.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
