Orville D. LARGE, 82, 13367 Nutmeg Ridge Dr., Plymouth, died at 6:18 p.m. Saturday, at Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Born to Emery and Clovie Annice STAYTON LARGE in Leiters Ford, he married Clara E. CALHOUN on May 1, 1938. She died March 15, 1990. Formerly of Monterey, he worked at Wanzer Dairy. He was a member of the Monterey United Methodist Church and the Monterey Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Leiters Ford IOOF Lodge and the Monterey Town Council.
Survivors include, one daughter, Patricia ACRE and her husband Mike, Zephyrhills, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Mary LARGE PERSONETT, Versailles; two sons, John E. LARGE and his wife Mary, Culver, Dennis O. LARGE and his wife Rita, Plymouth; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Jane SHRIVER, Argos; many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death is one son, James LARGE; two sisters and four brothers.
Memorial services are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bonine Funeral Home, Culver, Rev. Jeff JONES will officiate. No visitation is scheduled. Burial is at the Leiters Ford IOOF Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Monterey Volunteer Fire Department.
