Clovie Annice Large
Mrs. Clovie Annice LARGE, 63, Leiters Ford, died at 10:52 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Hospital. She had been ill three months.
Born [Clovie Annice STAYTON] July 10, 1887, in Marshall County, she was the daughter of Andrew and Susan STAYTON, moving to Aubbeenaubbee Township 45 years ago. On Sept. 30, 1905 at Plymouth, she was married to Emery LARGE. She was a member of the Leiters Ford Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge there.
Survivors include: The husband; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita HICKS, Fort Wayne, Mrs. Ellen (s/b Helen) Jane SHRIVER, Argos, Mrs. Susan JOHNSON, Leiters Ford; five sons, Chester [LARGE], San Antonio, Texas, Alfred [LARGE], Culver, Lester [LARGE], LaPorte, Orville [LARGE], Monterey, and Delbert [LARGE], Rochester; a brother, Nelson STAYTON, Culver; three sisters, Mrs. Nell SMITH, Shelbyville, Ill., Mrs. Chloe INKS, Elkhart, Mrs. Rebecca INKS, Knox; several grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Foster Funeral Home until 2 p.m. Saturday when the body will be moved to the residence in Leiters Ford. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Leiters Ford Methodist Church. The Rev. George VANCE will officiate and burial will be in the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
