Wes was born February 1, 1961 to Joseph and Phyllis (Wentz) Maddock in Maddock, ND. He was raised and educated in Maddock and graduated from the Maddock High School. Wes loved construction and immediately began work following high school. He began the family construction business with his father, Joseph, his brother, Bill and sister, Jackie.
Wes was a recipient of the Agra-Business Man of the Year Award, which led him later into the career that he loved. His pride and joy was the Maddock Trucking Business and most of all, Maddock Construction, with his brother Bill.
Wesley is survived by his siblings, Paulette (Donald) Isaak of Indiana, William 'Bill' Maddock of Maddock, ND, Keven (Sheila) Maddock of Grand Forks, ND and Almyra 'Carty' (Raymond) Buckmeier of Brinsmade, ND; 7 nieces and nephews, Jared (Shelby) Isaak, Dillon (Sam) Isaak, Mitchell (Yvonne) Fossen, Kyle Fossen and Alex (Shannon) Sabbe, Gabby (Colton) Schneider and Macy Maddock; 5 great-nieces and nephews, Vada Fossen, Vyvyan Fossen, Logan Sabbe, Aspyn Louder and Cole Isaak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Phyllis Maddock; sister, Jackie Fossen; niece, Jasmine Sabbe; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
