Jackie Fossen, 60, of Maddock, ND passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Williams Catholic Church in Maddock with Fr. Brian Bachmeier celebrating. Visitation will take place Friday, April 29, 2022 at St. Williams Catholic Church from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Rosary and Vigil service to follow. Music will be provided by Becky Brandvold and Chrissy Hager. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in rural Maddock.

Jacqueline 'Jackie' was born January 17, 1962 to Joseph and Phyllis (Wentz) Maddock in Maddock, ND. She was raised and educated in Maddock, graduating from Maddock High School in 1980. Jackie furthered her education at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, ND before returning home where she was united in marriage to Bennie Duane Fossen. The couple began farming in the early 1980's. When she wasn't hauling gravel for Maddock Construction, she would use her gravel truck to haul grain.

Jackie had a passion for driving her truck and made her career working with Maddock Construction. She also worked for the Legion, the Maddock Bar and Kanzelman's Hopper Topper. Jackie enjoyed bowling, darts, playing on the women's softball team, and was a bingo player enthusiast. She also enjoyed working in her garden and tending to her chickens. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her boys and her grandchildren. Jackie was very fortunate to have so many wonderful friends in her life.

Jackie is survived by her children, Mitchell (Yvonne) Fossen of Maddock, ND, Kyle Fossen and Alex Sabbe (Shannon Louder); grandchildren, Vada Fossen, Vyvyan Fossen Logan Sabbe & Aspyn Louder; siblings, Paulette (Donald) Isaak, Almyra "Carty" (Raymond) Buckmeier, Wesley "Wes" Maddock, William "Bill" Maddock and Keven (Sheila) Maddock; numerous nieces, nephews, and very special cousins.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jasmine Sabbe; parents, Joseph and Phyllis Maddock.
