Mrs. Carrie Bell Hill of 1846 Fairfield died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the Shreveport Manor Nursing Home after a short Illness.
A native of Athens, she had lived in Shreveport for 62 years.
Graveside services will be held today at 1 p.m. in Forest Park Cemetery, with the Dr. D. L. Dykes, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Osborn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hill was a member of the First Methodist Church for over 60 years.
Survivors include two local nieces, Mrs. Olan P. Davis and Mrs. Robert A. Porter, both of Shreveport.
Mrs. Hill was a retired saleswoman for the Hearn Dry Goods Co.
