He was born March 27, 1923, in Kilbourne, IL to Eugene Logan and Sadie Ann Jackson Willing.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Flinn of Cape Coral, FL and Tammy Herbert of Fort Myers, FL; two brothers, Walter of Galena, MO and Phillip of Kilbourne; two sisters, Mary Eichhorn of Spring Bay and Dorthy Christner of Carlock; two grandchildren; and friend, Virginia Moore, with whom he made his home.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He worked at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria and Morton for 30 years, retiring in 1979.
Burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.
