Jay Allen Hall, of St. George, passed away on December 17, 2022, from respiratory failure. Jay was born on July 9, 1941, to Oscar Hurst and Nida Mary Hall in American Fork, Utah.
In 1972, he started his own plumbing business, Hall Plumbing and Mechanical, which became one of the top 5 big commercial plumbing businesses in Salt Lake City for over 30 Years.

On December 8, 1961, Jay married Barbara Stagg in American Fork, Utah. Jay and Barbara went on to have three children, Gregory Hall (deceased), Nanette Goodman, and Shawn Hall.
In 2002, Jay retired and spent his time doing what he loved, hunting and fishing. He also spent most summers at his haven in Flaming Gorge.

In May 2016, Jay remarried to Barbara Workman (wife) in St. George, Utah.
Jay is preceded in death by his brothers: Clayton Hall, Jim Hall, and Ed Hall, and sisters: Virginia Hall, Betty Hancock, Alta Ewell and Diane Taylor.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Workman, children, Nanette Goodman and Shawn Hall and grandchildren, Alexis Hanson, Joshua Hall, Sierra Goodman and Skyelar Goodman and great-grandchildren: Aden Hall and Grace Hanson, siblings: Ella May Stoker, Robert Hall and Keith Hall.

Graveside services will be held Thursday December 22, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the American Fork Cemetery, 600 North Center Street. A viewing will be held Thursday from 10:30 to 11:45 am prior to the graveside at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork.
