Conscientious Objector. Frederick Wilkinson was the Secretary of the Streatham branch of the No-Conscription Fellowship. He was conscripted to join the army in 1916 but failed to join his regiment. As an Absolutist he also refused to serve the war effort in a non-combative role and was imprisoned. He died of influenza in Maidstone Jail aged 30. Administration of his estate, valued at £113 8s, was granted to his widow, Alice.
