Find a Grave ID

Bio

West Norwood Cemetery (WNC) is over 40 acres and some parts are covered in brambles and completely inaccessible. Ivy covered monuments can be seen sticking up through the undergrowth here and there. Plot numbers are essential for fulfilling photo requests and can be obtained from deceasedonline.

Lambeth Council has an online database of re-used graves in West Norwood Cemetery. If you find your ancestors on this website, there will be no sign of their grave in the cemetery, and any grave marker on the plot will belong to the new owner.

I strive for accuracy but am not infallible. Corrections and additional information are welcome. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial in question and provide documentary evidence for any changes. Documents can be posted on the memorial in support of edits, temporarily if you wish.

For all other matters, I can be contacted by using the 'Edit' tab on this memorial, and then selecting 'Suggest any other correction or addition'.

Please respect the efforts of photo volunteers and do not steal photos. Most people will give permission if asked.

Some of my photos are not very good. Please submit a photo request if you think better photos might be obtained. If you have photos of the same grave don't hesitate to add them - there is plenty of room for everyone's photos.

Writing in ALL CAPS equates to shouting, and is harder to read. If the shift key is problematic, all lower case is preferable.

Most questions will be answered by reading the Help section, aka the Rules. Further clarification can be obtained by asking questions in the Findagrave Forums.
