Hazel B. Ivy, 85, died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Miss. Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 10am Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at First Pentecostal Church in Jackson, with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 5pm until 8pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home, and Tuesday from 9am until 10am at the church.
Mrs. Ivy was a home-maker and the widow of the late Mr. Lee A. Ivy, Sr. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church for over 50 years, where she had been active in various church activities.
Mrs. Ivy is survived by her sons, Felix O. Ivy (Delores) of Clinton and Lee A. Ivy, Jr. of Clinton; daughters, Beatrice Smith (Don) of Clinton and Ann Collier (Bob) of Tupelo; brother, Alton Tanksley of Little Rock, Ark.; sister, Gladys Edwards of Grenada; ten grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
