LaPreal "Peggy" D. Bateman Vombaur, passed away December 3, 1995.
Born March 4, 1911, in Sandy, Utah, to Joseph Deseret and Lenora Baguley Bateman, one of 12 children to survived her pioneer parents. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reuel John Vombaur.
Survived by her two children: Doris Jean (Kenneth) Jones; John (Georgene) Vombaur; two sisters, Wilma Jones and Melba (Dale) Holt. Her extended family includes seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Member of LDS Church. She was an active member with the Pink Ladies Guild at Holy Cross Hospital. She served in the Delta Gamma Mothers Club, University of Utah.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 8, 1995, 12 noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Crescent City Cemetery.
