Burial was in the adjoining Cemetery with Deaton Funeral Home in charge.
He leaves his Wife, Rena South Bridges of Golden; two Daughters, Aubyn Skelton of Waukegan, IL; and Opal Strickland of Golden; five Sons, Bilbo Bridges of Wilson, Arkansas; Olen Bridges of Red Bay, AL; Dee Bridges of Zion, IL; Lee Bridges and Erastus Bridges; 21 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
He was a Retired Farmer and a Member of the Church of Christ.
Pallbearers were Ralph Bridges, Jimmy Lee Bridges, Johnny Bridges, Jerry Bridges, Merle Bridges and Eddie Bridges, all Grandsons of the deceased.
