GOLDEN Aubyn Skelton, 91, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, in Iuka. She was born Aug. 12, 1909, in Tishomingo County to Oliver Goldsmith and Rena South Bridges. She was a retired employee of Warwick Electronics in Zion, Ill., and a member of the Church of Christ and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 6116 of Belmont.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Senter Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Osborne of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sons, Kenneth Skelton of Michigan and James Oneal Rogers of Golden; one sister, Opal Strickland, and her husband, Joe, of Golden; two brothers, Bilbo Bridges of Wilson, Ark., and Ruble Bridges of Marion, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time today.
