Our Loving Earthly Angel Marilyn ("Mickey/Mick") Jean Clayton-Harpley, Born July 26, 1930, received God's Mercy, her Heavenly Wings, and Eternal Peace on December 5th, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her Parents William and Minnie Clayton, older Brother and Sister Bill Clayton Jr. and Joyce Jordan, and devoted Husband of 53 years Robert "Bob" Harpley. She was also preceded in death by Brother-in-Law Bob Jordan, and Brother-in-Law Wil Harpley and his wife Mary.

She is survived by Sons Rob (Cindy) Harpley of Uniontown, OH; and Rick Harpley of Boynton Beach, FLA; Grandchildren Brittany (Brandon) Riffle, Akron, OH; Adam Harpley, Erie, PA; Robyn (Cody) Miller, N. Canton, OH; and Sean Harpley (Amanda Stropoli) of Uniontown, OH; and Great Grandloves Tawnslee Harpley, Henry and Gemma Riffle, and Archie Miller; along with many Special Nieces, Nephews, extended Family and Friends.

She graduated from Buchtel H.S., Akron 1948. She met dad at the former Noble Ave. Church of Christ, Akron. She was employed by the Akron Public Schools working in the Cafeteria as a Kitchen Aid/Cook at King Grade School, Litchfield Jr. High and Firestone H.S. for over 30 years.
Mom enjoyed Music and Singing, Movies, T.V., was a very avid Book Reader, and devoted Guardian of her Family of Cats and Dogs. There was nary a day she wouldn't trudge the backyard, rain or shine, to feed the Birds and Squirrels. Early on, she also enjoyed Dancing, Golf and Tennis. But her Greatest Joy, Passion and what she was waiting to retire for, was to then Devote her Life to being a "Mamaw" (and then "Great Mamaw").

She was her Children and Grandchildren's Biggest Fan and Cheerleader in All that they did.
She personified a Christ-Like Life, working Tirelessly, but with her Whole Heart and Soul in Total Supportive Commitment to Her Family with Complete Unconditional Love.
The Holiday Season reminds us of how Extra Special she made them for Everyone. But it was the normal, average every day that she made you feel Loved. She was MOM to All who knew her.
In the words she would share with us, Mom/Mamaw; "We Miss You, We Will See You, and We LOVE You; no matter what, Always and Forever.
