Stanley Haltiwanger "Hawk" Hawkins, 81 of Pomaria, SC, born March 22, 1941, in in Chapin, to Dwight Berley Hawkins and Geneva Haltiwanger Hawkins, died Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Newberry Memorial Hospital. Stanley was a member of the first class to graduate from Mid Carolina High School in 1959. He was retired from McCrory Construction as a construction superintendent for 47 years. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, Pomaria. He is survived by his wife, Zalia Rawls Hawkins; daughters, Ellen Baker (Gene) of Pomaria, Beverly Boulware of Little Mountain; and a son, Russell Hawkins (Kelly) of Newberry; a brother, Tony Hawkins (Debbie) of Lexington; grandchildren, Amber Parker (David), Angela McKinnon (Chase), Logan Boulware (Jordan), Michael Hawkins, Bridger Boulware, Emily Hawkins; and great grandchildren, Zury Parker, Marshall Parker, Banner Parker, Loreli McKinnon, Neva McKinnon and the anticipated soon to arrive baby girl Boulware. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Hazel Hawkins and a sister, Jane Buzhardt.

Funeral services: 1:00 p.m., Tuesday November 29, 2022, at New Hope United Methodist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
