Funeral services for Arlie O'Bryant Carroll, Jr., 72, of Iron Station, NC will be held at one o'clock p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Joe Wilburn officiating; burial will follow in the Ashleigh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 or the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA. Arlie passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Born in Barnwell County, SC, he was the son of the late Arlie O'Bryant Carroll, Sr. and Annie Lou Morris Carroll. He was a pipefitter having worked for Swiss-Logic and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #96.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Worthington Carroll of the home; 3 sons, Starling O'Bryan Carroll of Gastonia, NC, Bruce Cassidy (Sabrina) Carroll of Summerton, SC and Bradley Scott Carroll of Sherrills Ford, NC; grandchildren Madison Carroll, Tyler Carroll, Ashley Carroll, Deliah Carroll, Katie Whetstone, Alanas Brown, and Melinda Carroll (Jedi Lykins); 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Annette Cole of Rock Hill, SC, Faye (John) Kassing of Columbia, SC, Sherry Graham of Goose Creek, and Jill (Jerry) Williams of Harlem, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, George Cole and Robert Graham.
