Funeral Services for Annie Lou Morris Carroll Hartzog, 95, of Denmark, SC will be held eleven am Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Ashleigh Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight pm Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. The family has asked that memorials be given to the Ashleigh Baptist Church of Missions 14315 Hwy #3 Blackville, SC 29817 or to an Animal Shelter of one’s choice.

Mrs. Hartzog passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015.
Born in Williston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Clifford C. Morris and Clara Lillie Randall Morris. She was first married for 38 years to the late Arlie Carroll.

Annie Lou was an extremely active member of Ashleigh Baptist Church; for 20 years she served as secretary for church training union, was active in vacation Bible school for 5 years, formerly served as the WMU director and really enjoyed going on the church senior trips.

She was a valued employee of the Dane Theater and for many years she also worked for Poole’s Five and Dime Department Store and Sunbeam Manufacturing.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Hartzog; daughters, Annette Carroll Cole of Rock Hill, SC, Faye Carroll Kassing (John) of Columbia, SC, Sherry Carroll Graham (Bobby) of Goose Creek, SC, Jill Carroll Williams (Jerry) of Harlem, Ga.; son, Bryant Carroll (Bobbie) of Iron Station, NC.; brother, Wallace Morris (Susie); 16 grandchildren, Chris Cole (Debbie) of York, SC, Kim Cole Henderson (Danny) of Chesney, SC, Mindy Cole of Rock Hill, SC, Candace Cole of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jennifer Kassing Bradley (Michael) of St. Helena, SC, Greg Kassing of Charlotte, NC, Tony Graham (Tracy) of Charleston, SC, Renee Graham Perkins (John) of York, SC, Rebecca Graham Ballard (Ernie) of Taylors, SC, Nathan Graham (Wendy) of Knightsville, SC, Bryan Carroll (Nicole) of Mooresville, NC, Bruce Carroll (Sabrina) of Manning, SC, Brad Carroll of Iron Station, NC, Lisa Williams Hood (Matt) of Forest City, NC, Anna Williams Gagner (Tim) of Grovetown, Ga, Jayson Williams (Amanda) of Grovetown, Ga; 33 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Edith Collins, Dorothy Morris, Florrie Hutto, Edna Grubbs, Mary Corbett; brothers, Marion and Clarence Morris and a son-in-law, George Cole.
