Mrs. Bauman loved playing Bingo and Bunko. She enjoyed having lunch with her grandkids and great grandkids. Irma also enjoyed special visits from other family members. She liked to play cards especially the games Euchre and Spades. She enjoyed going on Sunday drives in the country and having lunch out. During the summer, she loved having family over for BBQ's.
Irma and her husband enjoyed watching NASCAR on Sunday's. They enjoyed their life as over the road truck drivers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Royal R Bauman, whom she married on December 14, 1963 and who died on November 26, 2013; her parents, Emil and Martha, nee Wilson, Reese; two sisters Helen Reese, and Myrtle Reese; a brother-in-law, Chuck Volkey and a sister-in-law, LaVon Reese.
Surviving are her three children, Terri (Rick) Schmidt of Freeburg, IL, Royal (Kim) Jr. of Shelbyville, TN, and Scott (Michelle) Bauman of Vidalia, LA;
eight grandchildren, Kyle (Suzanne) Knake of Smithton, IL, Matt (Kristen) Knake of Freeburg, IL, Micheal Bauman of Shelbyville, TN, Michelle Bauman of Shelbyville, TN, Tyler and Macie Bauman of Vidalia, LA, James (Kabreeann) Bauman, of Petersburg, TN, and Blake Bauman, of Shelbyville, TN;
12 great-grandchildren;
three brothers, Merle Reese, Wally (Pat) Reese, Ken (Jane) Reese;
and a sister, Mary Volkey.
